Marlin’s universe is the electronic heritage of the French touch on the one hand (from Daft Punk to Justice) a certain idea of songwriting on the other (Marlin is a fan of Gainsbourg).
In between, there is the offbeat look of a young autodidact from his generation, who grew up on the internet listening to everything that went through his ears. At 22, Marlin returns with new electronic songs fueled by hip-hop, funk, rock ... that is to say pop as a whole. Since “Nights”, a first EP received with excitement by the media in 2017, Marlin has further broadened his musical universe, in particular through the decisive experience of the scene. Coming from the conservatory, going through jazz and rock bands in his young years, he finally turned to the world of production, always in a DIY approach from his home studio. Marlin has become an atypical and lonely character, whose music mixes the different sounds that nourished him throughout his life.
Aside from his discography as an artist, Marlin is already a sought-after producer for hip-hop, soul and pop music, and an incredible remixer.
